Reporting a bug
Please include your iPhone model, its iOS version and Ato's version, which is shown at the bottom of Ato's menu. A screenshot or screen recording helps too.
Requirements
Scanning needs an iPhone with a LiDAR scanner: iPhone 12 Pro or a later Pro model. Other iPhones can still open and export scans. Ato is made for iPhone only.
Questions
How do I restore my unlock?
On a new phone, or after reinstalling Ato, open the menu and tap Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple Account you bought the unlock with.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are made through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I copy my scans off my phone?
Open the Files app, go to On My iPhone, then Ato. Each scan has its own folder, which you can copy to a computer or anywhere else.
Where do my exports go?
Images, videos and animated photos are saved to your photo library. PLY and SPZ scan files open the share sheet, so you choose where they go.
How do I get better scans?
Move slowly and steadily, in good light. Textured surfaces scan best; glass, mirrors and very dark or shiny surfaces are hard for LiDAR to read.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a scan in Ato and it is gone from the phone. Deleting the app removes everything Ato has stored. Nothing is kept anywhere else.
